Tsuutina First Nation Digital Story
In this digital story, I talked about Tsuutina First Nation, its history, and specifically Chief Big Belly Middle School. I learned so much about their culture, tradition, history, and schools. Also, I learned more about Indigenous-owned websites that I can use to apply Indigenous ways of knowing in my classroom. Through our field trip to the Chief Big Belly Middle School, I got a chance to become more familiar with their education system and what they value. I will make sure to incorporate all I have learned so far into my classroom as much as possible and appreciate their culture more deeply.
I really like how you used your own experiences from the field trip when you talked about Chief Big Belly Middle School in your digital story! Your visuals are also really nice and eye captivating :) I wonder if we can use a similar activity with our students in practicum. I think they would really like the idea of narrating a story digitally!
