Mini-Lesson Plan Using Mathletics

Mathletics

Lesson Plan

Reflection: Teachers can use Mathletics for different topics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division for grades K-10. Through Mathletics students can experience working on different activities based on their comfort level. Also, they would have access to an online competition which would be helpful for their mental math. I learned so much through working on a mini-lesson plan using Mathletics. Using technology plays a major role in engaging students in their learning process. Also, it makes teachers to be more creative and to add more fun hands-on activities to their lesson plans.

  2. I agree, Mathletics is a really fun tool that can be used for hands on learning! Your point on the connection it has to mental math is also really great especially for some younger students who need that foundational knowledge to be successful in older grades. I also liked how you mentioned it can be used through grades K-10. I wonder how this can look for some of the older students..
